About Greg L. Gambill
Greg is licensed to practice in New Mexico and Colorado. His practice is oriented towards regulatory, litigation, and transactional matters for healthcare industry clients. Greg has been a presenter on multiple occasions to organizations about topics related to health law and commercial law, and recently served as a member on the committee that planned and hosted the 2014 ABA Health Law Section Emerging Issues in Healthcare conference. He is the ABA Young Lawyer Division 2012-2014 District Representative for New Mexico and Arizona, and is a voting member of the Board of Directors for the State Bar of New Mexico's Young Lawyers Division. Greg is also a member of the ABA Health Law Section and the State Bar of New Mexico’s Health Law Section. He is a member of Leadership New Mexico's Connect Class of 2013-2014, and a public member of the State of New Mexico Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. Prior to joining Montgomery & Andrews, Greg was an associate at another large law firm in New Mexico, where his practice was focused on personal injury defense and commercial litigation, set against a backdrop of healthcare, insurance, natural resources, railroads, construction, procurement, and Indian law. Greg participates regularly in the ABA “Wills for Heroes” program, in which volunteer attorneys prepare wills, power of attorney instruments, and advanced medical directives for police officers, firefighters, EMTs and other first responders at no cost. Greg is accredited to represent military personnel before the Department of Veterans' Affairs, and his latest service project is the "Veterans Civil Justice Initiative," a coordinated effort between the YLD and New Mexico Veterans Affairs Healthcare System that offers free legal consultations to veterans at the VA campus in Albuquerque. Greg received his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law. Prior to his career in law, Greg was a crew member of the Smokey Bear Hotshots, U.S. Forest Service.
