Jaime Ramos

Driven by a spirit of service and work ethic inherent in my upbringing, I leveraged broad life experiences to successfully complete a 20-year military career. Although born in California, I was raised in Mexico after my immigrant parents returned to their home country. From a young age, I worked a variety of jobs including construction, auto body repair, cobbling shoes, and farm work to help provide for my family, instilling resilience, determination, and adaptability.

I returned to the United States and joined the Army, drawing on my cross-cultural fluency and perseverance nurtured through my unconventional path. Over two decades of enlisted service, I spearheaded operations, motivated teams, and supported communities worldwide with distinction. My journey came full circle when I retired from the Army and attended law school; I will now continue a mission of public service as a Juris Doctor graduate, equipped with military leadership abilities and bilingual, multinational exposure granting me unique empathy and insight to pay forward. My composite skillsets, bridging vital civilian and military worlds, fuel my ongoing dedication to serving others and achieving excellence in this next chapter as an attorney.
