About Jeff Herron

Mr. Herron represents individuals with disabilities and serious medical conditions, protecting their rights under the ADA, the Family Medical Leave Act, and other statutes.

In employment matters these services range from negotiating workplace accommodations to aggressively defending employee rights before state and federal courts and agencies. Mr. Herron has represented individuals with severe physical and mental impairments, often challenging large institutions.

Services are not limited to individuals with disabilities, and Mr. Herron represents employees in discrimination claims, wage-hour disputes, whistleblower retaliation claims, wrongful termination claims and employment agreements.

Physicians and other medical staff members rely on Mr. Herron to vigrously defend their rights when faced with discipline or corrective action. In 2006 he represented the plaintiff before the Michigan Supreme Court in Bruce Feyz, M.D. v. Mercy Memorial Hospital, succesfully challenging 25 years of Michigan law that restricted a physician's access to the courts.

Indviduals who face serious financial difficulty and seek a fresh start rely on Mr. Herron in seeking protection from creditors in bankruptcy court.

Mr. Herron represents individuals seriously injured in accidents, with special emphasis on bicycle accidents.
