About Joann Brown-Williams
Joann is a highly accomplished attorney with more than 13 years of experience in business, complex commercial, and general litigation in state, federal and bankruptcy courts. Joann has tried several cases of first impression in Georgia, including Garner v. Stone (DeKalb County State Court 1999)(psychological malpractice issue concerning whether Georgia would recognize Tarasoff warnings); Ledford v. Smith, 249 Ga. App. 719 (2005)(defining fiduciary duties as between members under Georgia's limited liability act); and Stewart v. Smnith, 291 Ga. App. 86 (2009)(recognizing defamation in fiction in Georgia).
