Katherine a.w. Gallagher

Katherine has been a lawyer for 20 years, and has been a practicing transactional attorney for her entire legal career.

Focusing her practice primarily on probate and estate planning (wills/trusts and other important planning documents), Katherine also has substantial experience with contract drafting, evictions (landlord side), business formation and representation, collections, and political subdivisions.

Katherine does not handle criminal or domestic matters, but suggests you contact the Wayne County Ohio Bar Association or the Akron Bar Association for a referral if that type of assistance is needed.

Katherine does her best to be the kind of lawyer she'd like to have: knowledgeable, compassionate, caring, and reasonably priced...with a little bit of bulldog when necessary.

Having worked as general counsel for a non-profit, an assistant civil prosecuting attorney, an associate in a small firm, an assistant law director, a court administrator/staff attorney for the probate/juvenile court, and as a solo practitioner, as well as other professional roles (claims adjuster for a large insurer, chief operations officer of a non-profit, executive liaison to a board of trustees, to name a few) and lots of community non-profit board service, Katherine's experiences are broad.
