Mary Ellen Schaffner
Mary is a graduate of Centre College of Kentucky. She attended the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. While attending law school, Mary began her training in the field of workers’ compensation law as a clerk with the Kentucky Department of Labor. Following graduation from law school and over the next 20 years, Mary worked for both workers' compensation insurance companies and the law firms representing those companies.
After 20 years of mainly defending workers' compensation insurance companies and employers, Mary has chosen to now use her many years of experience and knowledge to assist injured workers navigate the Kentucky workers' compensation system. She looks forward to not only representing the injured worker but also to explain the workers' compensation maze which can be both frustrating and confusing to anyone not familiar with it.
