After serving as Chief Comments Editor for the Federal Communications Law Journal, received Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law in June 2006. Admitted to the California Bar January 2007. Began business litigation practice at international firm of the Morgan Lewis & Bockius. Moved on to Reboul, MacMurray, Hewitt, Maynard & Kristol [now Ropes & Gray], representing trademark behemoth Louis Vuitton and motor vehicle manufacturer Mitsubishi in litigation. Transformed into a people's lawyer in 1990, moving to Mazursky, Schwartz & Angelo, a powerhouse plaintiff firm, to learn the trial arts, and tried several cases in Southern California. Three years later, in 1993, became a prosecutor in Jackson County, Oregon and tried sixty jury trials in less than two years. Then switched sides and became a Federal Public Defender, the first Spanish-speaking member of the Oregon Public Defender CJA Panel based in Medford, Oregon. In 1999 returned to civil practice, representing Gary Kremen in his recovery of Sex.Com from Stephen Michael Cohen on November 26, 2000. Since year 2000, representing website owners, trademark holders, software and app developers in transactions and litigation.
