Damon Chetson is a criminal defense attorney who represents North Carolinians charged with serious felonies, misdemeanors, and traffic offenses (DUI/DWI).

Before law school, Damon Chetson worked in politics and public policy, advising politicians about economic and legal policy in Washington, DC and Arizona. In law school, Mr. Chetson was a staff member of the North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology and a member of the Actual Innocence Project.
He is the author of "Perfect 10 and Contributory Liability," published in the NC Journal of Law & Technology (2007) which focused copyright law's impact on search engines such as Google.
Among other results, his legal work in law school for the Wake County Public Defender led to a not-guilty jury verdict for one client accused of Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, and reduced charges for another client when he uncovered evidence showing that the prosecution's felony charges could not be proven.
Mr. Chetson also represents horse owners, horse buyers, horse sellers, and other equine professionals in matters involving horse transations, liability, and horse contracts.
