I spent 15 years as a trial lawyer in Anchorage. I tried civil cases only--employment law, personal injury, family law, and copyright. Took some time off. Returned to practice in the MatSu Valley, focusing on Social Security Disability claims.

Sean Brown practices law in Alaska at the firm of Power and Brown, LLC. Sean has successfully represented clients in a variety of personal injury and medical malpractice matters. Sean works hard to help his clients receive the best possible either through settlement or trial.

Sean is a 1999 graduate of The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. During law school Sean was on the Deanâs list, and a participant of student government and involved in a variety of other student activities. Sean received his undergraduate degree from the University of Louisville.

In addition to practicing law, Sean has been actively involved in the Bethel Community. He has lead seminars in Employment Law, Will Preparation and Probate, and taught Real Estate Law through YUUT Elitnaurvait and Economics through the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Kuskokwim Campus. He has also served on the board of Bethel Community Services and other community organizations. Sean is currently a member of the American Association for Justice and serves on the litigation committee of the Alaska Civil Liberties Union.
