We are different from other firms because our clients are able to access the attorney handling the case. Most law firms have layers of personnel between the attorney and the clients. At my firm when a client has a substantive question he or she speaks with me.

We prepare every case as if it will be presented to a jury. Since most cases settle average lawyers never even think about trial until it is almost upon them. We start every case by looking at the jury instructions that will govern the trial of the issues. We use the instructions to draft our pleadings. Everything we do is geared to convincing the jury to find in favor of our client. By preparing for trial we ensure the best possible settlements in those matters that resolve without trial.

Robert J. Allan is a barrister and solicitor and an AV rated attorney with over 30 years of international legal experience. In September 2008, Mr. Allan authored an article titled The Conflicted Duty of Chinese Lawyers, which was published in the highly esteemed National Law Journal.
He also recently spoke at the CEO Roundtable in Beijing on the topic of Corporate Social Responsibility in the US and China, as well as the UCLA US-China Business Law Conference.

Mr. Allan began his law career at the firm of Bull, Housser & Tupper LLP in Vancouver, British Columbia. He received a Law Degree from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, 1975, With Distinction. He is admitted to practice in California and in British Columbia. He currently resides in Malibu, California with his wife and two children.

Since forming Wisner Dispute Resolution Services in 2003, Alec Wisner has been using his unique and diverse background to assist hundreds of clients successfully resolve their disputes. Thoroughly trained in all aspects of mediation, especially in the areas of divorce and family mediation as well as commercial mediation, Alec provides both an understanding of the underlying issues and an ability to facilitate positive communication.

Alec brings a rich and diverse background to his mediation practice. While attending U.C.L.A., he won numerous national debate awards, graduating in 1971. Alec matriculated at the University of Southern California Law Center, earning his J.D. in 1974.

Martin B. Snyder of the Allan Law Group has over 30 years of experience as a litigation attorney. Mr. Snyder is a seasoned trial lawyer, who has tried over 200 cases in State & Federal Court. He also has extensive Mediation, Arbitration, and Appellate experience.

Mr. Snyder's considerable experience in representing individuals and corporations in trial, Arbitration and Appellate levels of the State and Federal courts has proved to be an invaluable combination. Mr. Snyder is currently working with Alan Dershowitz on an appeal in the New York Court of Appeal on a $100 million dollar judgment.

Mr. Snyder's previous case responsibilities at Jones & Lester included all facets of complex State and Federal Court litigation, including the drafting of pleadings, preparation of oral arguments and motions. He also has an extensive background in discovery practice, trial preparation as well as trial, post-trial proceedings and appeals.

As the sole litigation associate at Goldfarb, Sturman & Averbach Mr. Snyder had complete case management responsibility for the firm. Subsequently as senior litigation partner at Goldfarb, Sturman & Averbach, Mr. Snyder had supervisory oversight of all associates. He also handled all facets of client representation, from initial interview and fee arrangements through trial and post-trial matters, including appeals in State and Federal Courts.

Mr. Snyder has also done extensive legal research and drafting of pleadings, written discovery, and motions, including demurrers, Federal Court "Rule 12" motions, discovery and sanction motions, ex parte applications, provisional remedy and injunctive relief applications, and motions for summary judgment/summary adjudication.

I have been licensed to practice law in the State of California since 1999. I am a partner at the law firm of Hong & Mashal, LLP. I studied accounting at the University of Southern California, and obtained my law degree from Loyola Law School. While attending Loyola Law School, I became a Production Editor of the Entertainment Law Review, and was also placed on the Dean's Honor List.
