DAVID PILLERS is a partner in the law firm of Pillers and Richmond. He received his major in Economics and minor in Business from Valparaiso University, graduating in 1992, and received his law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law, graduating in 1998. Mr. Pillers maintains a general practice but concentrates his practice in the areas of Civil Litigation, Collective Bargaining, Business and Corporate Law, Municipal Law, Real Estate and Estate Planning. He is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association (Member of the Probate and Real Estate Section), Illinois State Bar Association, American Bar Association (Section Member: Motor Vehicle Collision, Probate and Real Property), the American Association of Justice, Iowa Trial Lawyers Association, Clinton County Bar Association (President 2004-2005), Clinton County Estate Planning Committee, Iowa Trust Association, and the Iowa Municipal Attorneys Association. Mr. Pillers practices in state courts in Iowa and Illinois, as well as the U.S. District Court-Southern District of Iowa and the U.S. District Northern District of Illinois.

George A. LaMarc's practice areas include Business Litigation, Personal Injury Law and Professional Malpractice. Mr. LaMarca is a highly credentialed and board certified trial lawyer who has handled some of Iowa's largest personal injury cases and some of the state's most complex business litigation cases. He is board certified in civil trials by the National Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. LaMarca is also board certified in medical malpractice litigation by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys.

Mr. LaMarca received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Drake University Law School. He is admitted to practice in Iowa and Florida, all U.S. District Court in Iowa, the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida and the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the Eleventh Circuit, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mr. LaMarca has been a very active member of the Iowa Association for Justice (formerly the Iowa Trial Lawyers Association, ITLA) for over 25 years. He was President in 1995-1996 and served on its Board of Governors from 1979-1983 and 1987-1991. In 1989, he was selected as the ITLA's Outstanding Member of the Year. As a result of his extensive jury trial experience, he holds the rank of Advocate with the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). In 2006, Mr. LaMarca was elected President of the Iowa Chapter of ABOTA and has been a national board member representing Iowa since 2007.
