Attorney Floro's practice is concentrated in the area of civil litigation. He has represented injured individuals in cases involving a wide variety of factual and legal issues, such auto accidents, dog bites, defective products, violations of civil rights, and other "personal injury" actions. The practice is also devoted to representing small construction and manufacturing businesses in contractual disputes and "damage" recovery actions.

Attorney Floro also assists property owners with private sales, mineral (timber, coal, oil and gas) rights and development. He has a Master in Sciences in Environmental Sciences and Management, and has represented a number of property and business owners in permitting and compliance issues, including costs recovery actions for fuel spill clean-ups. Attorney Floro has acted as special counsel for a number of Bankruptcy trustees, in handling underlying tort actions involving debtors/creditors.

A passion for law and justice began early for Steve. Raised in his home state of Delaware by his grandparents, he learned the value of hard work, determination, and education. After graduating from Law School he joined the Chester County District Attorneys’ office where he successful prosecuting DUI, Drunk Driving and Alcohol Crimes cases.

But Steve Jarmon’s reign as a DUI prosecutor was marked by his compassion, his commitment to justice and his determination to obtain a fair result for both the victim and the defendant.

Since leaving the District Attorney's office, Steve focuses on DUI Defense. Steve feels very strongly that everyone is innocent until proven guilty, and he strives to be a zealous advocate for each and every client to make sure the criminal justice system is fair and just. As a prominent African American lawyer who is based in Chester County and West Chester, Pennsylvania, he is sensitive to the need to protect your civil rights.

Steve's other passion is Civil Rights and Employment Law. His specific interest is discrimination and wrongdoing in the work place and welcomes speaking with you if you or a loved one has been the victim of discrimination or a civil rights violation or illegal treatment in the workplace.
