H. SCOTT LEVIANT is the founder, primary author and Editor-in-Chief of The Complex Litigator. Mr. Leviant is a civil litigation attorney with over 11 years of experience (10 as an attorney) handling complex and class action matters. Beginning September 8, 2009, Mr. Leviant will be employed at Spiro Moss LLP, a boutique class action litigation firm that focuses on employment and consumer class action litigation. Over the last five years, Mr. Leviant litigated class actions at Initiative Legal Group APC, Khorrami Pollard & Abir, LLP, and Arias Ozzello & Gignac LLP. Before that, Mr. Leviant worked at the small civil litigation firm Stanbury & Fishelman, Inc., where he handled increasingly sophisticated matters, including complex commercial litigations, class actions, appellate matters and civil trials. As a first year associate, Mr. Leviant argued a matter before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (where he was filleted, disemboweled, and generally didn’t do as well as he had hoped, spurring him to improve his appellate advocacy skills).

Since forming Wisner Dispute Resolution Services in 2003, Alec Wisner has been using his unique and diverse background to assist hundreds of clients successfully resolve their disputes. Thoroughly trained in all aspects of mediation, especially in the areas of divorce and family mediation as well as commercial mediation, Alec provides both an understanding of the underlying issues and an ability to facilitate positive communication.

Alec brings a rich and diverse background to his mediation practice. While attending U.C.L.A., he won numerous national debate awards, graduating in 1971. Alec matriculated at the University of Southern California Law Center, earning his J.D. in 1974.

From 1975 through 1978, Mr. Wisner developed his legal skills in the areas of family and commercial law. In 1978, seeking new challenges, he entered the world of corporate business. During the ensuing eighteen years, Alec served in top management in the printing/publishing industry. In this capacity, he managed the growth or several medium-size corporations and was personally responsible for the spinoff of several new, successful enterprises. Mr. Wisner is still actively involved as a director of such corporations as Golden Triangle Financial Services, located in Las Vegas, NV.

Returning to the full-time practice of law, Mr. Wisner became a principal in Stanbury Fishelman & Wisner, Inc., in Los Angeles, California. As an attorney, Mr. Wisner's practice encompassed complex civil litigation, class actions, as well as family law.

Michael P. Ehline, is a former California Court of Appeal Judicial Extern. Michael Ehline "read" for the law in a law office and judge's chambers on the California State Bar Law Office Study Program, passing the California State Bar Exam with no college degree or law degree. This is similar to how President Abraham Lincoln and many other famous lawyers got their start.

Mr. Dickson is the founding attorney of Prosper Law Corp and began the practice of law 18 years ago. Gordon has a broad base of experience and is responsible for managing legal matters across the firm. At Prosper, Gordon focuses on foreclosure defense, predatory lending, debtor/borrower representation, bankruptcy and transactional matters. Mr. Dickson has extensive experience representing consumer and corporate debtors in negotiating workouts. He also has trial and appellate litigation experience and tried a case against a major utility company where over $100M was at issue and successfully represented the client through both the appeals court and an appeal to the California Supreme Court. He is licensed in the State of California and practiced at two large international law firms. Mr. Dickson received his law degree from Georgetown University.
