Kennet's practice is focused on criminal misdemeanors and serious traffic offenses with an emphasis in DUI defense. No matter how simple or complicated the case, he approaches them all with the single goal of achieving the best possible outcome for his clients. Whether it is in the backroom negotiating with the prosecutor or in open court arguing before a judge and jury, he is an effective voice and commanding presence.

Kennet graduated summa cum laude from Eastern Washington University, where he was appointed by Gov. Gary Locke to serve on the Board of Trustees of EWU. Prior to attending law school, he worked in the Washington State Senate as a legislative aide to several state Senators. Kennet earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall). While there, in addition to his legal studies, he served as an associate editor of a nationally-recognized law journal.

In 2006, Kennet entered private practice dedicated to defending the rights of the criminally accused. He has appeared regularly in district and municipal courts around the Puget Sound, advocating zealously on behalf of his clients.

I have been practicing law in Western Washington since 1997. Since my first day of practice my area of emphasis has been DUI law. My first few years of practice were as a Prosecuting Attorney then in 2001 I moved to private practice representing those accused of the crime. Since 2004 I have only practiced this law. My knowledge in this area is immense and has been helped by my work in completing the book, "The DUI Handbook for the Accused" in 2007. I have two more books being printed in 2009, "The DUI Handbook for Lawyers" and "Driving Under the Influence-A Brief History."
I believe in thorough and aggressive representation of my clients. I also believe that our representation goes beyond just the court appearances and DOL hearings. We help to facilitate alcohol evaluations, treatment or alcohol classes (whichever is deemed necessary), the DUI Victim's Panel, and any else that may be required. It is my staff's objective to make this process as smooth as it can possibly be.

Jonathan moved to Seattle in May 2000, and began the summer session at Seattle University School of Law. Jonathan quickly found an aptitude for argument and a love of criminal law, so he focused his studies in that direction. Jonathan quickly became well-known throughout the law school by first becoming vice-president, then president, of the American Bar Association chapter on campus, and increasing membership to levels that consistently earned him regional awards for service to the Bar. Jonathan graduated in 2003 with honors.

While in school, Jonathan worked as an intern in both the public defense and private defense arenas. After graduating, Jonathan began his career as a public defender for the city of Shoreline, handling over 100 cases a day at times. From the beginning of his career, Jonathan committed himself to becoming one of the most well-respected well-renowned criminal defense attorneys in Western Washington. He works every day to achieve this goal by being more prepared, more knowledgeable, and more aggressive than his peers and his opponents. Jonathan has become known by the legal community and the court staff in almost every local court in Lynnwood, Bothell, Everett, Seattle, Shoreline, Edmonds, and more! His membership in national organizations and continued training keep him on the cutting edge of DUI and Criminal issues in Washington State.

I was born in England and have resided in the US for the past 25+ years. I practice primarily criminal defense and domestic relations law. In addition to a Juris Doctorate I have a Master of Arts in Existential Psychology and a Masters in Business Administration. I am very interested in the subject of rule of law development in post conflict environments, ADR and Peacemaking.

Richard Davies has been defending the rights of people
charged with crimes in Port Townsend and Jefferson County
for over 15 years. Because Mr. Davies' practice focuses
exclusively on criminal and traffic defense, his clients benefit
from his sound legal advice, knowledge of the local system,
and extensive trial experience.

Mr. Davies graduated from the University of Washington
School of Law in 1988. After graduating, he moved to New
Mexico, where he worked as a government attorney doing
complex federal civil litigation.

Mr. Davies has focused on criminal and traffic defense since
moving to Port Townsend in 1993. His breadth of criminal
defense experience includes dozens of felony and
misdemeanor jury trials, and appeals before the Court of
Appeals and the State Supreme Court. He is often consulted
by local and out-of-town attorneys about how to handle cases
in Jefferson County courts.

John Lutgens has been practicing law in Southwest Washington and the Portland metropolitan area since 1992. After graduating from Willamette University, College of Law in 1992, he joined the Portland firm of Sims & Sims. While at Sims & Sims he practiced in criminal defense, personal injury, estate planning & probate, real estate law, commercial fishing law, business transactions, and litigation.

Since 1994, when John Lutgens opened his firm in Vancouver, Washington, he has practiced in multiple areas, including plaintiff’s personal injury, criminal defense, estate planning & probate, business formation and transaction, family law, bankruptcy, and real property law.

John Lutgens has appeared in the Superior and District Courts for Clark County, Cowlitz County, and Skamania County; the Circuit Courts for Clackamas County, Marion County, Multnomah County, Washington County; and the Municipal Courts for Battle Ground, Camas, Kalama, La Center, Ridgefield, Stevenson, Vancouver, Washougal and Woodland, Washington, and Lake Oswego, Oregon.

As a resident of the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years, Jack attended the University of Washington and graduated with a degree in Political Science and Economics. Jack received his Juris Doctorate from Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, OR.

While in law school, Jack clerked at Vancouver's Blair, Schaefer, Hutchison, and Wolfe law firm where he gained experience in personal injury law, real estate transactions and litigation, and general civil practice. Following his graduation, he was hired as an associate. Jack then became a prosecutor for the City of Vancouver and for the Clark County Domestic Violence Prosecution Center where he gained the reputation of being a successful trial attorney.

Jack now focuses on criminal trial law, with an emphasis on Domestic Violence, DUI, and felony cases.

Bruce S. Davis was born in Bellevue and raised in Seattle and Burien, Washington. He enlisted in the United States Navy in April 1986 as a Seaman Recruit (E-1), completed Boot Camp at Great Lakes Recruit Training Center near Chicago, Illinois, and completed Seaman Apprentice School at Naval Training Center San Diego, California. Seaman Apprentice Davis' first assignment was on board USS McKee (AS 41) at Submarine Base Point Loma, California, followed by duty on board USS Mahlon S. Tisdale (FFG 27) at Naval Station San Diego, California. In 1988, Seaman Davis was selected to attend the U.S. Naval Academy Preparatory School at Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island as a Midshipman Candidate. He left active duty in 1989.

In 1990, Davis joined the Washington Army National Guard as a Private First Class in B Company, 1-803rd Armor, was trained and awarded the 19E MOS (M60 Armor Crewman), and advanced to Specialist. He later transitioned with the battalion to the 19K MOS (M1 Armor Crewman) and upon deactivation of the 1-803rd, Davis was assigned to 1-303rd Armor and the 81st Brigade. In 1996, Specialist Davis transferred to 3-161st Infantry (Mechanized) as a Bradley Fighting Vehicle crewman (11M MOS). Specialist Davis was awarded the Washington Commendation Medal for service with the Joint Forces Headquarters tactical operations center during the Makah whaling protest state active duty call up in Neah Bay, Washington. He served briefly as a Cadet (MS-3) with the ROTC Simultaneous Membership Program at the University of Washington in 1998, remaining with 3-161st Infantry in that capacity until the expiration of his term of service in the Guard in 1999, followed by drills as a Cadet with the 6th JAG Detachment (Legal Support Organization), 70th Reserve Readiness Command, Fort Lawton.

Between 1996 and 2004, Davis completed his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Washington, completed his Master of Public Administration at Seattle University's Institute of Public Service, engaged in graduate studies abroad at Uppsala Universitet, Sweden, and completed his Juris Doctorate at the College of William & Mary. After law school and sitting for the Washington State bar exam, Davis returned to the United States Navy, joining the Navy Reserve as a Petty Officer Third Class (E-4), rated Yeoman, on board USS Rodney M. Davis (FFG 60) at Naval Station Everett, Washington. While awaiting the results of his bar exam, Petty Officer Davis was ordered to active duty and deployed to the Western Pacific and Indian Oceans on board USS Rodney M. Davis in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. FFG 60 conducted VBSS (vessel boarding, search and seizure), vessel escort, and resupply missions for land forces engaged in Global War On Terrorism operations. Petty Officer Davis was advanced meritoriously to Petty Officer Second Class (E-5) during this deployment. Upon his return from deployment in 2005, Petty Officer Davis was sworn in as a member of the Washington State Bar, accepted a position as a corporate attorney in Beijing, China, and was selected for advancement to Petty Officer First Class (E-6) before leaving the Navy.

Davis returned to the Washington National Guard in January 2008, receiving his commission as a First Lieutenant, Judge Advocate and was assigned as Command Trial Counsel for the 66th Theater Aviation Command, Fort Lewis. He attended the Judge Advocate Officer Basic Course at the Judge Advocate General's Legal Center and School in Charlottesville, VA, completing the course with distinction in May 2008 on the Commandant's List. Lieutenant Davis completed his Direct Commissioned Officer and Basic Officer Leadership Course at Fort Sill, Oklahoma in June 2008. Upon returning to Washington, Lieutenant Davis volunteered for transfer to the 81st Heavy Brigade Combat Team, then preparing for deployment to Iraq, and was placed on active duty for special work at Camp Murray supporting the brigade's mobilization, serving as a Legal Assistance Attorney at the Office of the State Judge Advocate, Joint Forces Headquarters, Washington National Guard, Camp Murray, providing legal advice and assistance to deploying members of the 81st Brigade and their families.

Lieutenant Davis deployed with the 81st Brigade in August 2008 as Brigade Trial Counsel. Following post-mobilization training and certification at Fort McCoy, WI and the Brigade's transition into U.S. Army Central Command's Area of Operations via Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Lieutenant Davis was positioned with 1st Battalion, 161 Infantry (CAB) at Joint Base Balad, Iraq. While there, he assumed duties with 3d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary)'s Office of the Staff Judge Advocate (Consolidated Legal Center) as Brigade Trial Counsel for the 304th Sustainment Brigade and Trial Counsel for 3d ESC, while continuing to serve as Brigade Trial Counsel for the 81st Brigade. He was promoted to Captain with a date of rank of 31 March 2009. Captain Davis currently serves as prosecutor for military justice actions arising both at Joint Base Balad and within the 81st Brigade at Ramadi, Iraq.

Captain Davis' awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Washington Commendation Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal (2 awards), Naval Reserve Meritorious Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal (2 awards), Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with M Device, Army Service Ribbon, Navy & Marine Corps Overseas Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Navy Reserve Sea Service Ribbon, National Guard Service Ribbon (10 years), and Coast Guard Presidential Unit Citation (w/Katrina device).

Captain Davis is married to Ms Moyan Wang, an international business consultant from Beijing. They make their home in Washington State.

Kirk C. Davis is a Seattle native who went to the east coast for college and law school. After school, he returned to Seattle to work as a prosecutor. He was a prosecutor for 15 years. For the last 10 of those years, he worked as a prosecutor for the City of Seattle Attorney's Office. He was assigned to handle high profile and complex criminal cases. Over his career, Mr. Davis has tried over 100 jury trials.
Mr. Davis handled all of the drug forfeiture cases for the City of Seattle Police Department. He is a member of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Aaron Ritchie received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History & Political Science from The Colorado College in 1997, and his Juris Doctorate from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2004. While he attended law school, Aaron interned at the Vancouver City Attorney's Office where he prosecuted the full range of misdemeanor cases in District Court.

Following his admission to the Washington Bar in 2004, Aaron assumed a full-time prosecutor position in the Clark County Domestic Violence Unit and was eventually promoted to Assistant Unit Coordinator. During his career as a prosecutor, Aaron handled thousands of domestic violence cases and won guilty verdicts in numerous misdemeanor and felony trials.

As a member and founder of Green & Ritchie, PLLC, Aaron has practiced law throughout Southwest Washington in municipal, district, and superior courts. Aaron now focuses on criminal trial practice, especially domestic violence, DUI, and felony cases.
