Attorney John Andrew Chaffin was admitted to practice law in Oklahoma in 2003 and is the founder and principal of the Law Office of John Andrew Chaffin. He received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas and law degree from Oklahoma City University. Attorney Chaffin provides legal representation encompassing a variety of practice areas but focuses primarily on criminal defense, DUI/DWI, post-conviction, and family/domestic law. Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Chaffin was an associate attorney for Litigation Consortium, LLC in Oklahoma City where he practiced in the area of securities litigation and arbitration. He later served in an executive capactiy as In House Counsel for a prominent medical center in Oklahoma City where he was responsible for providing legal representation on a variety of corporate matters. Attorney Chaffin is licensed to practice law in all state courts within the State of Oklahoma as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He currently serves on the Law Related Education Committee for the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Sentencing and Criminal Justice Committees for the American Bar Association.
