Mr. Sokol was admitted to the Bar in December of 1980, after having graduated from the Cumberland School of Law in May of 1980. In September of 1980, Mr. Sokol was employed with McOmber & McOmber, P.C. as a law clerk and upon passing the Bar in December of 1980, he became an Associate with the office, eventually being elevated to Partner in 1986.

In working at McOmber & McOmber, Mr. Sokol has been principally involved in commercial litigation and advising corporate and public clients on strategic approaches to commercial disputes. His commercial litigation emphasis has been focused on manufacturing issues, specifically, commercial code and warranty litigation, dealer agreements, termination and arbitration. Another portion of Mr. Sokol's practice involves both public and private employment litigation and arbitration. Mr. Sokol has represented public entities in employment litigation since 1980, both in the courts and through the various administrative processes in New Jersey. Mr. Sokol has defended both public and corporate clients against allegations of discrimination, whistle-blowing, workplace harassment and various other allegations. He also has experience in the field of education law in New Jersey, representing boards of education and an educational service commission in tenure proceedings, labor scope proceedings, labor arbitration, negotiations and other hearings before the Commissioner of Education.

Other areas of concentration include representation of contractors, architects and owners, both public and non-public, throughout the construction process, including the drafting of construction agreements, as well as construction litigation and arbitration, addressing issues such as change order disputes, scheduling disputes, delay damages, liquidated damages, latent and patent defects, contractor termination, professional malpractice and construction lien law.

Mr. Sokol has also developed expertise in the areas of real property litigation through his representation of title insurance companies. He advises and represents landlords in lease drafting and negotiation and in causes of action seeking possession and rent. Mr. Sokol has also represented zoning boards of adjustment and applicants for the development of gas stations, banks and other commercial projects. Finally, Mr. Sokol has experience in representing banking institutions in collection actions, including mortgage foreclosures, and has defended lenders against liability claims.

Mr. Sokol was born and raised in Monmouth County, specifically Freehold, its County seat, where his father was an attorney for approximately 30 years. He currently resides in Colts Neck, New Jersey. Mr. Sokol is a long time volunteer for Western Monmouth Habitat for Humanity as an attorney and also volunteers in representing the Colts Neck Reformed Church, where he is a member with his family.

Mr. Warren is a graduate of Rutgers College and Rutgers School of Law - Camden. Prior to joining the firm of McOmber & McOmber, P.C. Mr. Warren was associated with two other firms, as well as with Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation at its branch office located in Freehold, New Jersey. Mr. Warren has been with McOmber & McOmber, P.C. from 1980 until the present time.

Mr. Warren and his wife are residents of East Brunswick, Middlesex County, New Jersey. They are members of Saint Bartholomew Church also located in East Brunswick, New Jersey. He is a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council Number 11873.

Mr. Warren is an Eagle Scout. He continued to actively participate in the Boy Scouts of America when his son became a Tiger Scout. Mr. Warren became an assistant Cubmaster/Cubmaster for Pack 109 and assistant Scoutmaster/Scoutmaster for Troop 109. Mr. Warren acted as an assistant Scoutmaster/Scoutmaster at two National Jamborees, and served as an assistant Scoutmaster at an International Jamboree as well. Mr. Warren is a Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow, Sakuwit Lodge No. 2. Mr. Warren has earned the Wood Badge which is the most advanced training available for Scout Leaders who are involved in the programs of the Boy Scouts of America.

Mr. Warren has also served as district chairman of the Semeos District of the Central New Jersey Council. In this regard, he has earned the District Award of Merit.

Prior to opening her own firm, Meredith served as an attorney at Advocates for Children of New York (AFC). While at AFC, Meredith practiced in the area of special education law. Prior to joining AFC, Meredith worked in the Trusts and Estates Department at the law firm of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP.

Meredith graduated with a B.S. ''with Honors'' from Cornell University and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. Before entering law school, Meredith completed a Fulbright Scholarship focusing on the study of disabilities and special education, for which she received a Masters of Education. After receiving her Masters, Meredith taught in the New York City public schools. Meredith is a recipient of the 2006 and 2008 Empire State Counsel Awards for her dedication to public interest work in the area of special education law. Meredith is a member of the New York State Bar.

Mr. McOmber was admitted to the New Jersey and Federal District Court Bars and then served as a Judge Advocate General for three years in Washington, D.C. There he initially served as defense and trial counsel in many courts martial and thereafter as post Judge Advocate of Fort Leslie J. McNair in the southwest section of Washington.

Upon his honorable discharge from the Army, he joined the law firm of Giordano & Halleran. Upon his promotion to partner, the name of the firm was changed to Giordano, Halleran & McOmber. Thereafter, he left that firm to start a new firm with his wife, Adrienne H. McOmber. McOmber & McOmber opened their first office on Front Street in Red Bank, New Jersey and later moved to 90 Monmouth Street in Red Bank. Since 1980, they have practiced on the waterfront of the Navesink River at 54 Shrewsbury Avenue in Red Bank.

The McOmbers first lived in Fair Haven and thereafter in the Locust section of Middletown. They have two children, one of whom practices with the firm. Mr. McOmber served as a trustee and President for many years with Riverside Drive Association, a homeowners’ group representing some 240 families on the north side of the Navesink River in Middletown. He has also been involved in the Armenian community for many years and presently attends St. Stepanos Armenian Apostolic Church in Elberon, New Jersey.

Greg Sutton is the founding attorney of the Sutton Law Group. Prior to forming the Sutton Law Group, Greg worked with Brooklyn Legal Services in New York City and the Juvenile Law Center in Philadelphia. Most recently, Greg worked as an associate with the preeminent international law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. As a law firm associate, Greg worked extensively with small businesses and entrepreneurs on all matters of business law. He also worked closely with Philadelphia area legal services organizations, including the Education Law Center and Philadelphia VIP, in delivering pro bono legal services to Philadelphia's underserved communities. Greg's practice makes use of his extensive ties in both the non-profit legal services community as well as the private law firm community in order to provide his clients with a robust and well informed approach to dealing with legal, social and educational issues.

Greg believes firmly in the principal that top quality legal services should be made available to all people without regard to ability to pay. Accordingly, Greg continues to provide pro bono representation directly through the Sutton Law Group and through working with legal services groups throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and the Delaware Valley Region.

Greg is an active member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Greg received his J.D. from New York University School of Law and is a graduate of Binghamton University, where he graduated summa cum laude.

Karen F. Edler has over ten years of experience in the field of special education law, advocating for parents in connection with obtaining a free, appropriate public education for their children under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). She also represents children at school board disciplinary hearings. Additionally, Ms. Edler concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial and corporate transactions, commercial leasing, and commercial real estate. She also represents children at school board disciplinary hearings. Ms. Edler is also a member of the New Jersey Special Education Practitioners.

Ms. Edler is a cum laude graduate of Dickinson College, where she earned a BA degree in Political Science, with a minor in Latin. She earned her law degree, cum laude, from New York Law School, where she was the Managing Editor of New York Law School Journal of International and Comparative Law. After law school, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert E. Hamer, J.S.C., Law Division, Bergen County. During the course of her career, Ms. Edler has litigated in numerous courts and represented various public entities including municipalities, planning boards, and boards of adjustment. Additionally, she served as the Public Defender in a local municipality.

Ms. Edler is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Court of the Southern District of New York, the United States Tax Court, and the United States Supreme Court.
