Attorney Kelly Klun is successful because she listens to her client’s needs and objectives. She practices primarily in the areas of real estate, estate planning, business law, and probate. Her practice covers a broad range of commercial and residential real estate transactions, with particular focus on commercial leasing, land use, and related development agreements. As for estate planning, she works with families and individuals to ensure that their wishes are achieved and that the estate plan, whether it be a will or trust, is properly carried out. In addition, Kelly routinely prepares health care directives, financial powers of attorney, and beneficiary designations for life insurance and retirement plans for her clients. Finally, she works with entrepreneurs and dynamic businesses. Her broad strategic thinking skills help her clients achieve success in all phases of their development and growth. Kelly provides legal services throughout Minnesota, however, her primary service area includes northern Minnesota and the communities of Virginia, Hibbing, Ely, Grand Rapids, Bemidji, Cloquet, International Falls, and Duluth.

Kelly also serves her community as the Ely city attorney and she is involved in several community volunteer organizations. She is an active outdoors enthusiast and you will often find her biking, or spending free time, snowshoeing, hiking, kayaking, or just enjoying time with her family and friends.

From our home in Ely, Klun Law Firm provides legal services throughout the state of Minnesota. This includes the Minneapolis and St. Paul metro area, along with northeastern Minnesota: the communities of Virginia, Hibbing, Ely, Grand Rapids, Bemidji, Cloquet, International Falls, and Duluth. Our lawyer's practice in that areas of real estate: lakeshore development, boundary and title disputes, and land purchases; estate planning: wills, trusts, medical assistance, elder law; criminal defense: DUI & felony charges; family law: divorce, child custody, and child support; business: incorporation and contract development, personal injury: accidents and more.

I was a late bloomer. I didn't even start on my undergraduate degree until I was 35. Perseverence pays off, however. I made it all the way through undergrad and law school and have been practicing for 15 years, now. Much of that time was spent as a solo practitioner, but I have a colleague who is an equal owner with me and we have one associate working for us.

My practice is limited to estate planning (wills and trusts), probate, guardianship/conservatorships and all aspects of family law (divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, property division, etc.)
