Julie Myers was born in Washington, DC and was raised in Columbia, Maryland. She is a 1991 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech) and a 1996 graduate of The University of Baltimore School of Law. She has practiced law for 12 years. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Myers was appointed to serve as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Lenore R. Gelfman in the Circuit Court for Howard County, Maryland from 1996 to 1998. She engaged in a solo general law practice for five years before joining the law firm of Willis & Henderson, P.A., located near Baltimore, Maryland, where she practiced in various areas of civil law and litigation, including estate planning and family law. In 2007, Ms. Myers moved to Colorado, and in 2008, opened The Law Office of Julie D. Myers, LLC in Woodland Park, Colorado. Ms. Myers is active in her church, is a volunteer troop leader for Girl Scouts of Colorado, is a volunteer educator for Junior Achievement, and is a competitive tennis player. She resides with her family in Teller County, Colorado.
