I am a third generation lawyer practicing in Fayetteville, NY, just outside of Syracuse. I have a solo practice focused on business development, estate planning, commercial litigation and equine law. In other words my practice is geared to wealth development and protection for yourself and future generations. I have developed this niche with one focus in mind: listening and responding to your needs.

A graduate of Syracuse University and Syracuse University College of Law, I have developed a practice that is singularly focused on meeting your needs from beginning to end. Debrina received her BA from Skidmore College with a dual major in Business and French and her JD from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Law. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2006. Before admission to the bar, she provided legal services to the modest-income community in Pittsburgh. Her proudest accomplishment to date is being a single mom to a beautiful, energetic toddler. When time permits, she provides pro bono legal services to the New York City community.
The focus of DL Washington law is to provide affordable legal services to all New Yorkers, with a concentration on the distinct needs of single parents. We provide limited legal services, which means we will draft the legal document, but it is the client's responsibility to file them.

My practice is concentrated in the areas of residential real estate, Medicaid planning, wills and trusts, estate planning, probate and estate administration.

Mr Evans has been practicing law in Northern New York for more than 33 years helping people buy and sell REAL ESTATE, create their businesses and passing their possessions on to their heirs through WILLS & ESTATE PLANNING. More recently he is expanding his practice to include elder law issues such as nursing home planning which includes estate planning and also asset protection.
He has served on many community boards and is active in his church. He currently serves on the Watertown Urban Mission Board, the St Patrick's Church Advisory Board and teaches confirmation at St Pat's. In the past he has served as president of the Greater Watertown Chamber of Commerce, the Sacred Heart Foundation, The Northern New York Cerebral Palsy Association, and the Islanders Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. He was one of the founders of the Fort Drum Steering Council and served as secretary treasurer of that body while it created the Developement Authority of the North Country and won for Fort Drum the home of the Tenth Mountain Division.

Jack H. Genser, Esq. manages the litigation department of the firm's Elder Law, Estate Litigation and Personal Injury divisions where he directs litigation on behalf of seniors, their families, health care facilities and individuals who have been injured due to the negligence or recklessness of someone else.

Mr. Genser is an experienced litigator who has successfully conducted jury and bench trials in Nassau and Suffolk counties as well as all counties of the City of New York. In addition to his in-court expertise, Mr. Genser is well-versed in all areas of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation, as a means of obtaining expeditious and cost-effective case resolutions.

Mr. Genser was a keynote speaker at Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation "Coping and Caring" Conference in March 2004. Mr. Genser is a member of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Trial Lawyers Section of the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association Committee on Elder Law, Social Services and Health Advocacy, the Committee on Surrogate's Court, Estates and Trusts, and the Suffolk County Bar Association Elder Law Section.

Mr. Genser earned his Juris Doctor degree with Honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1994 and his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Tufts University in 1989. He was admitted to the bar of the State of New York in 1995.

Prior to opening his own firm, Nick worked as an associate at a general practice firm. Before that, he was a law clerk and paralegal for many years working for a variety of firms with different practice areas including, litigation, general business law, real estate, insurance defense, family law, class action mass tort law, and personal injury.

Mr. Ahuja is a U.S. citizen born in India. He is admitted in the states of New York, Connecticut, Virginia, Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, U.S. District Court; Southern District of NY, U.S. District Court; Eastern District of NY, and India. Mr. Ahuja received his education and experience both in India and the United States. Mr. Ahuja holds an LL.M. (International Business Law); an LL.M. in Labor Laws; LL.B. (JD); M.B.A. (Personnel Management & Labor Welfare); M.B.A. (Business Management); a Diploma in German language; a Postgraduate Diploma in Gandhian Philosophy, besides his M.A. (Major: International Relations) and B.A. (Honors) degrees.

Mr. Ahuja has worked as an Attorney (Trademarks) at the United States Department of Commerce, Patent and Trademark Office, as an Of Counsel to Aitken Irvin Lewin Berlin Vrooman & Cohn, LLP, a Washington, D.C. based law firm specializing in the international business law, as a Consultant to M&M Consultants in Massachusetts, as a General Counsel to Soft Computer Consultants in New York, and Regional Manager at Oriental Bank of Commerce, India. Mr. Ahuja has worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Baruch College [City University of New York], New York, NY, as an Adjunct Faculty and taught International Business at the USDA Graduate School, Washington, D.C; and as Adjunct Faculty at Howard University. He has been on numerous other legal panels and organized a number of conferences, has frequently been a guest speaker to various institutions of management sciences and law including Continuing Legal Education program for attorneys. Besides his law practice, Mr. Ahuja works as an Arbitrator with Small Claims Courts in New York. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu & Punjabi languages and enjoys writing poems in his native languages.
