Siomara ("Sio") Ramirez Pitre is an experienced litigator with several years of experience both in the courtroom and in negotiating good and fair settlements for her clients.

Sio was born in Guatemala and immigrated to ths U.S. as a small child. She grew up in California, and attended college there. She attended law school in Houston, and is proud to call the Houston area home.

Sio handles all types of family law, including family-based immigration, child support, modifications of support and visitation, and domestic and international adoption.

Sio is fluent in Spanish.

Mr. Cortes is a solo practitioner who runs a "General Legal Practice" with a concentration in Criminal Defense. He has aggressively defended numerous clients at trial, in front of juries in cases as routine as Driving While Intoxicated or as complicated as Murder. He has had scores of cases dismissed and countless others reduced to less serious offenses.

However, his aggressive trial tactics are not limited to the area of Criminal Defense. He has also represented clients in innumerable bench trials, hearings and mediations in areas as diverse as Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Commercial Law and Family Law.
