James M. Johnson graduated from James Madison University in with degrees in Biology and Economics. He received his Juris Doctor from the George Mason School of Law. During law school, Mr. Johnson had successful internships with the County Attorney's Office, the Commonwealth Attorney's Office and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court of Prince William County. Upon completion of law school, Mr. Johnson worked at the law firm of Pfitzner & Morley located in Prince William County. Mr. Johnson left Pfitzner & Morley to found his own firm in 2008. He is admitted to practice in all Virginia courts, as well as the Federal and Bankruptcy courts of the Eastern District of Virginia.

My experience and background reflect the hallmarks of success one must demand of a lawyer in the metropolitan area's legal landscape. As a native of Northern Virginia, I have here focused my practice on providing sound and balanced representation to clients navigating the difficult legal waters of family (including divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution and estate planning), real estate (including as litigation, document review/analysis/drafting, landlord tenant, contractor disputes and settlement/closing services) and commercial law (such as litigation/corporate defense, structural/formational and collection). My persuasive style has been well received in courtrooms throughout Virginia and Maryland, sustained and continually nuanced by a body of experience sufficient to deliver sophisticated results for my clients.

My formal education includes a B.A. from Hampden-Sydney College with honors in both Philosophy and Religion (1999), induction into Pi Sigma Alpha and Theta Alpha Kappa Honor Fraternities, and the Union Philanthropic Literary and Debate Society. I completed my J.D. from George Mason School of Law with a focus on litigation (2004). This academic background facilitates my forging channels of communication that bridge cultural, economic and social divides, allowing for thoughtful position development and, when coupled with my substantial trial experience, affords clients innovative and creative settlement opportunities.

My professional experience includes practicing alongside the partners of several of Northern Virginia's most prestigious boutique firms and serving as a clerk for the judges of the U.S. Tax Court. My achievements have been recognized by my inclusion in Marquis, Cambridge and Strathmore's Who's Who in American Law. My practice has also enjoyed steady growth through relationships developed during my involvement with the American, Virginia, Maryland and Fairfax Bar Associations, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, American Land Title Association and BNI Tysons Mastermind.

Lee R. Taylor holds a B.A. in Psychology from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and his J.D. law degree from the Mercer University School of Law. While still in law school, he had already started his career in the legal profession as part of the university's third-year practice program. Taylor has considerable experience on both sides of the courtroom: Before moving into a private practice that involves both civil litigation and criminal defense cases, he had served as an assistant district attorney for Dalton, GA; as city attorney for the city of Ellijay, GA, and as county attorney for Gilmer County, GA during the 1990s, a time of transition for the county from rural Appalachian community to suburb of the greater Atlanta metropolitan region.

He went on to serve as Special Assistant Attorney General for the state Department of Transportation and also for the state Department of Human Resources and dealing with rights-of-way cases, title transfers and condemnation litigation for the former, with cases for the Division of Family and Children Services for the latter.

Taylor is a certified mediator who has worked in general and domestic relations dispute resolution. In Ellijay, he was an active member of the United Methodist Church. In other parts of his life, he can boast extensive experience in the creation of stoneware pottery, stemming from his family's pottery business. An active member of the Lexington Baptist Church, he resides with his wife, Rebecca, on a family farm in Rockbridge County, where Taylor says the current crop is horses. The Taylors have four children.
