Mr. Nance has a general practice with special focus on all aspects of the Internet, entertainment, immigration, media, business and construction law, civil and criminal litigation. He has over ten years of experience practicing law in Europe, South America and the US; eight years of experience in litigation and administrative hearings; and over six years of first-chair jury trial experience.

Mr. Nance speaks fluent English, German, Spanish and conversational Polish and French, having earned a bachelor's degree in German and Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin in 1990 and a J.D. in civil and common law from Loyola University School of Law, New Orleans in 1996, including a semester at the University of Vienna School of Law.

Mr. Nance has been an associate of Puender, Volhard, Weber & Axster (merged with Clifford Chance in 2000) in Warsaw, Poland; of counsel for Munoz de Toro & Munoz de Toro in Buenos Aires, Argentina; an Administrative Law Judge and an Assistant Attorney General, Transportation Division managing the Administrative Law and Contract/Construction & Maintenance Law sections representing the Department of Transportation for the State of Texas. Since entering private practice, he has served as General Counsel for numerous Internet-based and traditional companies across the U.S.

Mr. Cougle graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2003 with a B.S. in Computer Science. He then spent 1 year as a C.A.S.A., providing volunteer representation for children in troubled homes. Realizing that he could do more as a licensed attorney, Mr. Cougle decided to attend Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge beginning in 2005 and graduating in May of 2008. Upon passage of the July 2008 Louisiana State Bar Examination, Mr. Cougle was sworn in as an attorney before the Louisiana Supreme Court and admitted to the Louisiana State Bar on October 23, 2008.



During the summer of 2007, Mr. Cougle traveled to the war-torn country of Lebanon and worked with a persecuted religious minority there. It was this experience that led Mr. Cougle to realize the severe need of such organizations throughout the world for legal assistance. Domestically, Mr. Cougle provides immigration services for clients seeking visas, immigration, and individuals seeking asylum in the United States or other friendly countries.



Mr. Cougle is familiar with basic written and Levantine spoken Arabic and is very familiar with Arabic culture. He often coordinates with groups who work to end religious persecution and spread religious freedom in the Arab world.



Mr. Cougle is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Slidell Bar Association, and the Covington Bar Association. In his free time, Mr. Cougle enjoys practicing the martial art of Aikijutsu. He is a third degree black belt, or Sandan, in the Shindoryu Aikijutsu Association and often acts as an instructor at the practices held at Southeastern Louisiana University.
