I have been an attorney for 21 years working primarily with families. My first 9 years were as an assistant county attorney handling child protection, child support, juvenile delinquencies/truancies, guardianships/conservatorships and mental commitments. Then I developed a training program on a two year grant with a local legal aid office. The program trained battered women's advocates in basic housing laws. In 2000 I spent 7 months handling bankruptcy cases. Since 2001, I have worked exclusively on family law matters involving divorce, post divorce, custody, parenting time, child/spousal support and property matters.
On a personal level, my father and grandfather were attorneys who taught me that the law was an honorable profession that demanded my integrity and perseverance on behalf of others. I have two adult children and a grandson that I adore. And I sing in the Church choir.
