I am the managing partner of HensonFuerst Attorneys. We have 11 lawyers and more than 40 staff including paralegals, legal assistants, private investigator, nurse, and field investigator.
I feel privileged to be able to work with a group of lawyers who work at the very highest level of legal care. It is a rare place where people are challenged intellectually, challenged to do their best, and supported by their colleagues every step of the way. This is a very bright group of people, very congenial and collegial. I think that, by working as a team, we are able to push each other to higher levels of success for our clients, our firm, and ourselves.
Here is what I want all my clients to know: When I am listening to you, I am really listening, and I am trying to put myself in your shoes. And when I am giving you advice, my goal is to give you the same advice I would give to a member of my own family. I feel personally connected to my clients, and that's the mindset I'm in when I'm giving advice- personal and connected. What this means is that I won't ever hide the truth from you- the information I give may not be what you want to hear, but it is the truth. And when I offer my advice, I'm telling you the same information I would tell my own father, mother, sister, or brother if they needed legal advice. I will always put my client's best interests at the forefront of everything I do.
The process of hiring a lawyer is very personal- it's not like going to Wal-Mart and shopping for the best deal on detergent. The Tide detergent you buy in Wal-Mart is the same Tide you buy in Kroger, or Harris Teeter, or any other store. Legal services, on the other hand, are widely different. Firms are dramatically different in the quality and level of client care the firm gives, the level of personalized service, and the amount of time that a lawyer and law firm and staff are willing to spend with a client.
Clients should have their eyes open and try to analyze who they think will fit philosophically with their needs best-who is going to listen to them, take the time they need to understand the intricacies of the case, take the time to explain the options available, provide the best possible outcome, and be honest throughout the process. Choosing a lawyer means looking at a lawyer's credentials and history, but it also means evaluating the fit between you and your philosophy and the personality of the firm.
In everything I do, I strive to leave the world a better place. As a lawyer, I can help people in their time of need by giving them a voice, and by making sure that the legal system protects their personal rights. If no one is around to protect individuals, corporations tend to roll right over them. I consider it a privilege to be able to offer that kind of protection.
My firm handles serious injury cases involving tractor-trailers, auto accident, personal injury, wrongful death, and Social Security Disability cases, defective products, drug recalls, insurance fraud, and financial securities fraud.
