Bukhari Nuriddin earned his J.D. degree from Howard University School of Law in 2008. After passing the Georgia Bar, Mr. Nuriddin entered private practice representing both small businesses and individual clients. In 2009, Mr. Nuriddin founded The Law Office of Bukhari Nuriddin, P.C. Mr. Nuriddin believed that in starting his own practice, he could be more effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal issues. Since then, Mr. Nuriddin has represented numerous high-profile clients in the pursuit of their transactional goals and has appeared on behalf of individual clients in State Court. Mr. Nuriddin practices exclusively in the areas of intellectual property and entertainment law, criminal defense, tax, wills, trusts & estate planning, and landlord tenant law. The Law Office of Bukhari Nuriddin, P.C. has allowed Mr. Nuriddin to fully realize his passion for advocating for those who are unable to advocate for themselves.

Mr. Nuriddin is active in a number of professional organizations including the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia.

Julian A. Fortuna is Partner in The Saylor Law Firm LLP where he practices business and tax law with a focus on tax planning and representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service ("IRS") and various other tax authorities. He also handles estate and trust tax matters.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Fortuna was Vice President and General Tax Counsel for InterContinental Hotels Group ("IHG"). During his eleven year tenure at IHG, Mr. Fortuna managed a team of tax professionals responsible for structuring the domestic and international tax impacts of numerous mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and other corporate transactions, as well as construction projects, leases, exchanges and other real and personal property transactions. Mr. Fortuna was also responsible for state and local tax matters (including property, sales/use and occupancy taxes). He also directed tax research and planning for cross-border financing, captive insurance, and the worldwide use of trade names and other intangible assets. He represented IHG before the IRS and various other tax authorities on audits, appeals, and ruling requests, and pursued tax regulatory and legislative changes for the benefit of IHG with U.S. Treasury and Congressional personnel in Washington D.C.

Mr. Fortuna's professional experience also includes eleven years in the tax department at Deloitte and Touche where he served as the lead tax service provider to a variety of corporate and individual clients. Prior to that time, he served four years in the U.S. Treasury Department at Office of the Chief Counsel for the IRS where he was responsible for litigation in the United States Tax Court. He distinguished himself at the Office of Chief Counsel by winning seven of the eight cases he tried (he won a third of the other case), including two fraud cases and an accumulated earnings tax case.

Mr. Fortuna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Political Science from the City University of New York, a Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from Emory University School of Law. He is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia (Tax and Fiduciary Law Sections), American Bar Association (Tax Section), Atlanta Bar Association (Tax, Corporate Counsel, Immigration and International, Estate Planning and Probate Sections), International Fiscal Association, American Association of Attorney-CPAs, Atlanta Tax Forum, and The Lawyers Club of Atlanta.

In recognition of his extensive knowledge and experience in tax law, Mr. Fortuna was recently selected for inclusion in the 2011 edition of Best Lawyers in America (Copyright 2010 by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken S.C.).

Tax attorney Jack Fishman spent 25 years with the IRS, serving as a special agent. Jack Fishman now practices tax law in Atlanta, Georgia, helping individuals and businesses nationwide in the areas of IRS tax disputes, audits and investigations.

Rhys T. Wilson is a partner of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP and Co-Leader of the Firm's National M&A Practice Group. Mr. Wilson has been selected by his peers as a Georgia Super Lawyer in Mergers and Acquisitions. Claire Mattson joined Fox+Mattson, P.C. in 1996.

Claire develops and implements tax planning and other strategies for individual and business clients, including the coordination of all estate planning and transactional documents. She also handles probate and estate work.

Claire graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. degree in International Studies, Soviet Studies and History. She was also named to Phi Beta Kappa while at South Carolina. Claire earned her law degree at Emory University where she was active in the Moot Court Society and coached Emory’s team to a win in the National Moot Court Championship.

Claire currently serves as Secretary and Founding Member of the Board of Directors for the Soaring Hawks Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable organization supporting educational enrichment at Hembree Springs Elementary School in Roswell.

Jon has worked with accountants, attorneys, business brokers, real estate brokers, CFOs, dentists, medical doctors, veterinarians, developers, lenders, buyers, owner-occupants, and investors (including prominent multi-generational family businesses).

His appraisal work has been in the areas of lending, investments, mergers, acquisitions, partnership and corporate buy-ins and buy-outs, estate planning, trusts and estates, charitable gifting, property tax (ad valorem taxation), divorce (property settlement), collateral used for supersedeas bonds (appeal bonds), bankruptcy/foreclosure confirmations.

Jonâs valuation experience includes not just market value, but value in use, going concern value, business value and insurable value.

Jon is qualified to perform cost segregation studies, and, because he is both a lawyer and an appraiser, Jon is also qualified to serve as a property tax arbitrator and referee.
