I grew up in Boulder, Colorado, and have spent most of my life deeply involved in studying writing, argument, public speaking, business, law, and science. I also am interested in entrepreneurial ventures and politics.

I concentrate my practice on Colorado Workers Compensation Law and in particular injuries which prevent workers from returning to work.

We help people who have been injured or who have suffered damages due to the negligence or intentional acts of other persons. If you were injured on the job, we can help. Mr. Spencer has secured many of the largest Workers’ Compensation settlements in the history of the firm. In the past 5 years he has obtained over $13.5 million in compensation for his clients. His win-percentage is over 90%.

Recently, Mr. Spencer successfully argued a Workers' Compensation case in front of the Colorado Supreme Court. Listen to the oral argument in the Williams case.

Mr. Spencer has also handled many successful Social Security appeals in Federal Court. He is admitted to practice in front of the State Supreme Court of Colorado, the Federal District Court for the District of Colorado, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans' Claims.

Mr. Spencer graduated in the top four percent of his class at the University of Colorado School of Law. He has a Master’s degree in Political Science and Constitutional Law from the University of Colorado.
