Adam D. Woods
Adam is the founder of Woods Law Firm, PLLC, a Brandon, Mississippi law firm that serves clients throughout Mississippi and Tennessee. He is licensed to practice before all state courts in both Mississippi and Tennessee and has represented people from all walks of life, zealously advocating for his clients in numerous areas of the law, including personal injury, contract negotiation, real estate, consumer and commercial law, wills and estates, and family law.
Adam graduated college from Mississippi State University with a Bachelors in Business Administration. While completing his degree, he negotiated numerous contracts for events held on campus, developing a love for the law and the art of negotiation. He then pursued a legal degree from Mississippi College School of Law, where he held numerous leadership positions, including President of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, and Vice President of the Law Student Bar Association.
While in law school, Adam worked for the Mississippi State Medical Association, gaining experience assisting the General Counsel and researching and drafting proposed legislation dealing with wills and estates law. Later, he worked for the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he focused on numerous areas of corporate law, including healthcare, bankruptcy, procedure, contracts, liability, and insurance. While at UMMC he also gained experience working with a variety of family law issues and how they affect healthcare procedure.
Since opening his practice, Adam has combined the experience he has received while working in various areas of the law to better meet all of his clients' needs. Adam understands the value of repeat business, and strives to maintain a reputation as an attorney that his clients can count on to handle their cases with diligence, passion, and dedication, while maintaining a relationship with his clients based on respect, commitment, hard work, trustworthiness, and value.
