Adam Sean Cohen
Adam Sean Cohen has been admitted to the practice of law before the Supreme Court of the United State of America; the United States District Court for the District of Maryland; and the Maryland Court of Appeals.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1993 where he studied criminal justice and criminology. He received his Law Degree from Widener University School of Law in 1996.
He is a partner in THE COHEN LAW FIRM, A Professional Corporation, which is a general practice providing representation including Criminal, Civil, Landlord/Tenant, Collection, Family Law, Juvenile, Workers’ Compensation, Police Misconduct, Traffic . . . etc.
His current activities include (1) President Elect of the Bar Association of Baltimore City; (2) President of the Baltimore Bar Foundation; (3) Trustee of the Monumental Bar Foundation, (4) Executive Committee of Citizenship Law Related Education Program Committee (CLREP); (5) Professionalism Course Faculty and Committee; (6) Executive Committee of the MSBA Leadership Academy; (6) Vice President, A Step Closer Foundation, Inc.; and (7) Board Member of Tuerk House, Inc.
In 2002 he was invited to become a fellow in the highly selective ranks of the Maryland Bar Foundation. In 2005 he was again honored and invited to become a fellow of the Baltimore Bar Foundation.
He is the Past Chair of the Maryland State Bar Association Public Awareness Committee, a position he held from 1999 - 2007; Past Chair of BABC, CLE and Events Committee where he served from 2006-2007; Past Chair of the Membership Committee where he served from 2002 - 2004; and Past Chair of the Partnership in Education Committee where he served from 1997-2001.
He is also a member of the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association (MCDAA); and the Maryland Association for Justice (MAJ).
