Alden B. Tueller
Mr. Tueller graduated cum laude from the University of Utah in 1964 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics. He received his law degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1967. He practiced estate, trust, and tax law in New York City for eight years before moving to Utah, where—for another eight years—he was counsel to an organization now known as LDS Philanthropies of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is the author of five books about tax-exempt planning and charitable tax deductions published by the Taft Group of Kensington, MD and Detroit, MI. Mr. Tueller conceived, then for thirteen years co-authored, then published, a monthly newsletter about tax-exempt planning.
Mr. Tueller taught a tax course about tax-exempt planning and charitable tax deductions at Brigham Young University Law School. He is a founder and chairman of Premier Administration, LLC, a tax-exempt trust administration and compliance company. He is a member of the bar in New York, California, Utah, and Washington. He is the founder of Alden B. Tueller, P.C., and a co-founder of Bennett Tueller Johnson & Deere. Mr. Tueller is a past member of the board of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning and a former member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Commission on Philanthropy.
Mr. Tueller consults with financial professionals, tax-exempt organizations, and their friends nationwide, assisting them with tax, financial and estate planning. He has directed the design, development, and administration of thousands of tax-exempt trusts and organizations, with a total initial funding in excess of $1 billion, about $250 million of which would otherwise have been paid in taxes.
