Serafini Law
A.J. Serafini, a Hagerstown, Maryland native and son of former State Senator Andrew Serafini, Sr., graduated from Grace Academy in 2005. He went on to earn a B.S. in Government from Liberty University in 2008, completing his degree in three years with summa cum laude honors, followed by a top-five finish in his class at Liberty University School of Law in 2011. During law school, he served on the moot court board, mentored first-year students, and coordinated a Street Law program for at-risk youth. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Maryland Association for Justice, the National Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice.
Focusing on personal injury, medical malpractice, and nursing home abuse, Serafini has achieved notable results for clients in Western Maryland. He regularly pursues continuing education through state and national programs and served on the Judicial Nominating Commission under Governor Larry Hogan. Recognitions include the Herald-Mail Readers’ Choice Award for Best Attorney (2018), the Herald-Mail Media’s “Best of the Tri-state” (2019 and 2020), a Top 40 Under 40 ranking from the National Trial Lawyers, multiple Rising Star honors in Super Lawyers, and the Elite Lawyer designation. Active in the local community, he has coached high school soccer, served on the Maryland Symphony Orchestra and Hospice of Washington County boards, and represents faith-based organizations. He and his wife Kassi attend Broadfording Church in Hagerstown, reflecting his commitment to serving the legal needs of his hometown.
