Andrew David Blum
Tabat, Cohen, Blum & Yovino, LLP.I have been practicing matrimonial and family law on Long Island for over 30 years and have extensive negotiation and trial experience in complex Equitable Distribution and Custody cases. It has always been my desire to tailor my representation of each client to their individual goals and desires. In addition, I listen to my clients and I advise them accordingly. Although an amicably negotiated settlement is often the goal, I have successfully conducted numerous trials and hearings on behalf of my clients. These cases may include complex financial issues as well as cases involving acrimonious custody litigation as well as matters in both Supreme Court and Family Court. I have been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell every year since 2002, and have also been rated "10.0 Superb" by Avvo. I am proud to have been published and selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers, the New York Metro Edition, which is an honor awarded to less than 5 percent of attorneys in the state. In addition, I was recently recognized with the "Top 10 Attorney Award" from the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys and a member of the New York Family Law American Inn of Court, as well as a member of the Nassau County, Suffolk County and New York State Bar Associations. I have also served as an arbitrator for the Nassau County Alternative Dispute Resolution Matrimonial Panel and I have been an instructor for the Trial Techniques Program at Hofstra School of Law. My firm practices in Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester Counties as well as in all five boroughs of New York City.
