Andrew Gartman
Trial Attorney with Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine
Andrew is an Arizona native who has dedicated his career to helping the underdog, and to holding people accountable. His passion to stand up against bullies was cemented into his character at an early age, after witnessing a public servant fabricate a story to support his unlawful actions. Ever since, Andrew continues to push for justice on behalf of those who cannot seek it themselves.
“Justice consists not in being neutral between right and wrong, but in finding out the right and upholding it, wherever found, against the wrong.” –Theodore Roosevelt, 1916.
Andrew joined Burg Simpson in 2019, after acquiring extensive experience under the guidance of nationally ranked trial attorneys and numerous jury trials over police brutality/excessive force, RICO and wrongful death.
Andrew also defends clients in civil asset forfeiture proceedings. Civil Asset Forfeiture is a complex area of practice that combines criminal with civil law. Andrew has achieved great success for his clients throughout Arizona, whether at the trial court or the Arizona Court of Appeals.
Andrew shares in the philosophy of Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine, and their commitment to clients. He currently represents people who were injured by another’s negligent or intentional conduct, whether from car crashes, slip and fall, or government and professional malfeasance and gross negligence.
When out of the office, Andrew is an outdoor fanatic! He continues to travel throughout the southwest, whether in a motorhome, on a motorcycle, or with a pack on his back. He is easy to spot on the trails, right behind two white German Shepherds.
