- Q. My ex collects cs from me..she doesnt need it. She makes more than me now. We also have joint custody. How can I lowerc
- A: Under the Family Code, child support is determined based on the parents' income, percentage of time with each parent and certain deductions which are allowed in calculating the amount of child support. If you have a previous child support order and there are change of income and/or custodial time, then you may file for modification of child support. I would suggest that you seek consultation with an attorney. Best regards.

- Q. I live in CA, my husband got physical custody of my son and moved to GA. He recently passed. How do i get custody?
- A: As long as the California Court has jurisdiction over the minor child then, you will be able file a Request for Order with accompanying documents and get a court order to enforce custody rights. However, I will strongly advise that you seek legal representation as there are many unanswered questions that runs in my mind as I read your brief summary. Best wishes.
