Anthony Thomas Ballato

The litigation matters range from homeowner-contractor disputes to multi-million dollar tort cases. He has been featured in Newsday, The Seattle Times, The New York Law Journal, VerdictSearch and other written publications and has lectured for the Bar Associations of Nassau and Suffolk County as well as appeared on public television stations. Anthony graduated from Touro Law School in 1988 and remains an active member of the alumni as well as a law student mentor. Anthony has served as adjunct professor of the paralegal program at the New York Institute of Technology, general counsel for the Massapequa Water District, associate counsel for the Manhasset-Lakeville Water and Fire Districts, and is a hearing officer for the Town of Oyster Bay, arbitrator in Lemon Law proceedings, member of the Surrogate Decision Making Committee for the Mentally Disabled, a court Referee, a trustee of the Jones Fund Adult Home in Bayville and has served as pro bono counsel to Nassau-Suffolk Law Services, various churches and not-for-profit organizations. He is a member of various Bar Associations in New York, New Jersey and Georgia as well as an officer of the Columbian Lawyers Association and member of various charitable organizations. Anthony has always been committed to representing the less fortunate ever since his summer clerkship during law school with Nassau-Suffolk Law Services.
