Ayanna Countee
Ayanna Y. Countee is an Associate at Garces, Grabler & LeBrocq with the firm’s Personal Injury department. Ms. Countee is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney.
Ayanna specializes in all aspects of personal injury law, and is a seasoned litigator. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Countee formerly worked in insurance defense litigation where she developed her skills as a civil trial attorney successfully trying numerous personal injury cases. Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, Ayanna brings a warm personality to truly connect with her clients, while aggressively fighting on their behalf.
Ayanna graduated cum laude from Columbia University in 2004 where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in French with a minor in political science. Ayanna then went on to earn her law degree from Tulane University School of Law in 2011.
While in law school, Ayanna was a board member of the Moot Court Board, and managing editor of the Journal of Technology & Intellectual Property. Upon graduation from law school, Ayanna served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Michael A. Toto, P.J.S.C in the Criminal Division of the Superior Court, Middlesex County, New Jersey. At that time, she also acted as a New Jersey Supreme Court Certified Trained Mediator in Mediation and Conciliation Skills.
Ayanna is well known and respected in the legal community for her professionalism, strict sense of justice, and as a fierce litigator who fights for her client’s best interest at every stage of litigation
