Biography
I am a local attorney with a focus on real estate, landlord-tenant, and wills and estates. But I can and will take any matter that arises should you need me, if I do not feel comfortable in handling your matter I will do my best to find you a lawyer that is.
I live in Yadkin County and am raising my family here. I have served in the Army since 2004 and have deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan during my time in service. After completing my active service I attended UNC-Greensboro and then Wake Forest School of Law, and have continued to serve as a member of the Army Reserves.

Legal Answers
- Q. Brother and I own home titled joint tenants with rights of survivorship through inheritance. As I did not want to sell
- A: I would have to check to make sure that your brother didn't add his wife to the deed before he passed, before giving my full legal opinion. But in the scenario you outlined, since the ownership was joint with the right of survivorship between you and your brother, once your brother passed, then full ownership was vested in you.
- Q. My Mother's will has 2 deceased children listed. Who is to be listed on the probate form other than the survivors.
- A: Normally the interest of your deceased siblings would pass to their children. However, in order to verify that, I would have to review the will and make sure it didn't specify a method for determining the heirs.
- Q. Mom died with no legal will have half sister tht is not my biological father's daughter and she was never adopted intitl
- A: I believe you are asking who now owns the property, and I couldn't answer that without seeing the deed.
