Bernard Kennedy III
- Estate Planning, Probate, Business Law
Bernard “Bernie” Kennedy was born into small business. While working for a family-owned operation, he swiftly became familiar with the vast and varied challenges associated with entrepreneurship. Ever since, Bernie has taken great pride in providing small businesses with effective and efficient legal solutions.
Raised in New Haven County, Bernie continues to reside along the coastline with his wife, Irene, and their rescue dog, Seamus. Bernie enjoys discovering new outdoor adventures across Connecticut and looks forward to further serving the coastal community that helped mold him into the attorney and person he is today.
In addition to serving local businesses, Bernie also offers essential Estate Planning and Probate/Trust Administration expertise. Whether a court-appointed conservator or representing clients in contested probate hearings, Bernie’s professional experience gives him pivotal insight into the importance of a well-crafted Estate Plan.
Bernie firmly believes that small businesses are the backbone of America and that an entity or individual’s interaction with the law should be easily accessible. Further, Bernie recognizes that obtaining quality counsel can be an advantageous tool to accomplish Business and Estate Planning
objectives. With an empathetic and ethical character, Bernie’s professional purpose provides clients clarity, guidance, and support during their legal encounters.
Before joining Legacy Law Partners, PLLC, Bernie served three additional law firms throughout Connecticut — including Child Advocacy in Hartford, Family Law, Litigation, and Business Planning in Willimantic, and Business and Estate Planning in Branford.
