Claimed Lawyer Profile
Biography

My practice is primarily focused on estate and probate litigation as well as wrongful death litigation. My team and I represent families and clients throughout the country and internationally with legal matters in Louisiana. We handle a wide range of estate matters; from the simple transfer of assets from parents to kids to multimillion-dollar estate battles over rights of inheritance, we have handled it and everything in between.

I was born and raised in Lafourche Parish, La., in a small community where I was related to almost everyone. My great-grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins all lived there as well. We have now had five generations grow up in that neighborhood. I believe it is this experience that has guided my law practice to handle estate and probate matters and to help families pass their legacies and estates from one generation to the next.

I graduated from Central Lafourche High School in Matthews, La., and went on to attend Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, La. where I obtained a BS degree in Finance. After working as a licensed stockbroker for a few years, I attended law school at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La., and obtained a Juris Doctorate in Law. I am licensed for the practice of law in the State of Louisiana, and I am admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Louisiana.

Now entering my third decade in the practice of law, I have experience in many different legal fields including collections and foreclosures, business law, construction law, property disputes, banking law, personal injury matters, and many more. This experience is invaluable, as it is very common for these types of issues to arise while handling an estate. I draw on my prior knowledge and experience to find cost-effective solutions for my client’s legal issues.

When not at the office, I am probably spending time with my family, telling dad jokes, and embarrassing my not-so-amused three daughters.
