Hello! My name is Bradley Trexler. Before graduating from Campbell Law School and pursuing a career in criminal law, I received my bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Before joining Matheson & Associates, I worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Wake County DA’s Office. During my time there, I handled thousands of cases ranging from traffic tickets, to assaults, to DWIs, and anything in-between. I also spent time previous to that working in private criminal defense.
A Wake County native born and raised, I strive to use my legal knowledge to give back to my community. At Matheson & Associates, I am achieving this goal through zealous representation of my clients in District and Superior Criminal Court. I am also a dedicated Spanish speaker, and have even spent time studying the language abroad in Sevilla, Spain.

- Q. My friend has 17 dismissals with leave in North Carolina from 2007 tell 2020 what does this mean.
- A: Dismissals with leave put this case in a sort of purgatory where they are still alive but will not be put on the docket. Most likely these cases will prevent your friend from getting a valid license but will not have much other consequence as the cases should not have any active warrants for arrest due to their dismissal with leave status. These cases should and need to be handled at some point, but the dismissal with leave status gives your friend some time to decide how to proceed and resolve the outstanding charges.
