Brandon E Tate
Tate & Bowen LLPBrandon Tate is a Managing Partner at Tate & Bowen LLP where he serves in a variety of practice areas with a focus on Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Criminal Defense, Complex Business Litigation, Labor/Employment, and Construction Litigation. He was selected to the Rising Star List by Super Lawyers for 2017. Brandon has been trained and is eligible to advocate in the best interests of children as a Guardian Ad Litem. Brandon earned his Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. During his time at Clemson University, Brandon was a member of the National Political Science Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha. Brandon earned his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he served as treasurer of the Environmental Law Society. In addition to this, Brandon earned the Pro Bono Program’s gold level award, the Norman Lefstein Award of Excellence, for amassing more than two-hundred (200) Pro Bono hours while a student at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Brandon was also an active member of the international legal honor society, Phi Delta Phi, Wilkie Inn Chapter. Brandon is an active member of the American Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, and Indiana Public Defenders Council. He is a committee member for the IndyBar Review Assistance Committee and has presented on Criminal Law for the IndyBar Bar Exam Review Course. He is also an active member of the Indiana State Bar Association Solo-Small Firm Conference Planning Committee and Networking Committee and is active on committees for the Indianapolis Bar Association. Brandon also volunteers as a Judge for the Teen Court program through Reach for Youth, which provides assistance and alternative options for at risk youth.
