Brandon Volk is a litigation attorney licensed to practice law in all Florida Federal and State Courts. Mr. Volk specializes in handling all aspects of maritime personal injury claims. He has achieved numerous impactful results for his clients, including passengers injured on cruise ships and pleasure boats, crewmembers injured on commercial vessels, yachts, tugboats, and barges, as well as longshoremen and a variety of maritime service workers.
Mr. Volk undertook his legal education at Tulane University Law School, widely renowned as hosting one of the preeminent programs in the United States for its Admiralty & Maritime Law curriculum. There, he attained his Juris Doctor degree alongside a prestigious Certificate of Specialization in Maritime Law, and received awards as the top scholar for courses in Advanced Marine Insurance, and Towage & Offshore Services.
In addition to his academic achievements, Mr. Volk has a range of practical experience in maritime litigation. During law school, Mr. Volk served as a judicial extern in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, for the Honorable Sarah S. Vance, a tenured federal judge with an extraordinary reputation for presiding over maritime and admiralty related lawsuits.
Prior to joining Lipcon, Margulies & Winkleman, P.A., Mr. Volk worked at highly distinguished maritime defense firms in both Louisiana and Florida, where he represented shipping vessels, cargo interests, marine insurers, private yacht owners, tugboat companies, and major cruise lines. For years, Mr. Volk defended shipowners and marine insurance companies — now, he advocates for victims that have been impacted by devastating injuries or death onboard vessels.
