I am an attorney specializing in the representation of employees and employers in labor disputes, including wage, overtime and tip litigation. My clients include workers asserting claims against businesses for unpaid overtime and tips, as well as restaurateurs, business owners, and other employers in need of defense from litigation alleging labor and employment violations. I also represent businesses in unemployment insurance proceedings, and OATH hearings and tribunals. My areas of expertise include negligence and insurance litigation. I represent individuals and businesses in property damage and personal injury matters. I provide coverage opinions and represent insurers in coverage litigation involving many different types of insurance, including bodily injury, property damage, disability, construction, lead paint, automobile, first-party property and personal injury. I defend insurance companies from direct claims by both insured and injured parties.

- Q. Can I file an Article 78 even if I am a member of a union?
- A: You should give the Union a chance to help you first. If they don't do what they are supposed to or are not vigilante in prosecuting your case, you can probably start an action on your own.
- Q. I’m on maternity leave and was only colleague on my team affected by a wider company RIF
- A: Yes, it certainly sounds like it would be worth your while to speak with an attorney.
- Q. My daughter's former manager is telling customers and employees that my daughter was fired for saying racial slurs
- A: If you can somehow prove that what he is saying isn't true you can sue him for libel. But proving that sort of thing is usually very difficult.
