Legal Answers
Q. Should I respond to the letter I received from the Attorney General of Texas, Child support division?
A: There is no need to respond to this letter; however, if you are looking to make a change to your current support order then it would be wise to send back the questionnaire, as this can help with the review process.
Q. How to change house deed with only copy of quick deed claim?
A: Quit Claim deeds are not preferred in Texas, but you do have other options, depending on how you came to have possession/title to this real property. It would be wise to contact an attorney who can look at the specifics of your case to better advise you.
Q. Im the non-custodial parent, I moved to California. In order for my daughter to come visit me her mom wants me to make
A: Your best option is to file for a modification; however, there may be provisions in your decree already that plan for this type of situation. I suggest your contact an attorney to review the order with you to then make an informed decision about how to proceed next.
