Carl Scott Spector
New Jersey and New York Criminal Defense and DWI/DUI AttorneyI'm Carl Spector and I have been providing my client's with effective defense in criminal law cases since 1992. I worked as an Assistant District Attorney for six years in Bronx County, New York. While working there I learned all about how the prosecutors office and the police work within the criminal justice system. I attended State University of New York at Buffalo where I received my B.A. degree. I then went to Nova Southeastern University in Florida where I received my law degree (J.D.). I am currently admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey and am an inactive member for the Florida bar. I also served as a Municipal Prosecutor for three years in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. Ever since 1992, I have been making sure that my client's receive the best possible result in the courtroom. My skills vary; therefore, I have tried many complicated criminal cases including, arson and murder. I understand that the process can be very confusing and stressful, so I make sure to talk to my clients often, answer all their questions, and make sure they understand everything correctly. In 2009 I began working as a Municipal Prosecutor in a large community in Bergen County. In order to better educate other attorneys in the field of criminal law, I have written and taught a Continuing Legal Education course that is certified by the state of New York. I am currently on the staff of Strayer University as an Adjunct Professor teaching online an undergraduate class, Introduction to Criminal Justice. I currently have offices in New York and New Jersey. One of the most frightening experiences in a person's life is being charged with a crime, especially if that person has never had any experience with the criminal justice system. All of a sudden you are pushed into a world of confusion and stress and you don't know how to get out. This stress can be very overwhelming. Let me help you like I have helped so many others.
