Caroline Sapp is one of our six attorneys at The Law Offices of John Day, P.C. and represents clients who have been injured across Tennessee.

Caroline comes from a long line of legal professionals, which influenced her decision to choose law as a career. Her great-grandfather was a White County, Tennessee Judge and White County Sheriff; her Great Uncle was a former trial attorney in the Upper Cumberland and Assistant District Attorney for the 13th Judicial District; her Grandmother was Clerk and Master in White County for over thirty years; and her Aunt is the current Clerk and Master in White County, Tennessee.

Caroline is active in the legal community and is committed to helping others. She has received several distinctions for her help with the homeless, disadvantaged, and the elderly. Caroline participated in Alternative Spring Break and Homeless Connect in Memphis, Tennessee, and received the Dean’s Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award for her work at the University of Memphis. Her pro bono work also earned her the Tennessee Supreme Court's designation as a Law Student for Justice, for donating more than fifty hours of free legal assistance to Tennesseans. She was also a Student Attorney in the Elder Law Clinic where she drafted and executed legal documents for individuals who could not afford legal services.

She is a member of the Lawyers’ Association for Women, Marion Griffin Chapter and serves as chair of the Publicity, Technology, and Social Media Committee. She is also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Nashville Bar Association where she writes and edits for the Nashville Bar Journal. She was named “Contributor of the Year” in 2016 for her work on the Nashville Bar Journal.
