Casey T. Hoyer
Hoyer Law Firm PCI grew up in a small farming community in Oregon where neighbors knew and genuinely cared for each other and core values like honesty, integrity and hard work mattered. I am as authentically comfortable in the company of a farmer as I am with a judge or legislator. I believe that while it is important to be able to laugh at ourselves, and I often do, the legal fraternity is and should be a noble and honorable calling to serve. Nelson Mandela, Gandhi and Abraham Lincoln all had at least one thing in common. They were all lawyers. The lawyer is the frontline defender of the Constitution and the rule of law. I attended Brigham Young University-Idaho before serving a two-year LDS church mission to Auckland, New Zealand and the Cook Islands. I later received my Bachelor of Art Psychology degree from the University of Oregon. In 2003, I received my Juris Doctorate from prestigious Willamette University College of Law, which was founded in 1842, and is the oldest law school in the Western United States. I am licensed to practice in the state of Utah. Since 2003, I have worked in a general law practice, as a legislative lobbyist, and as an Administrative Law Judge. My extensive work experience in the legal profession, unique skill set, expertise and knowledge of the law and court procedure, and familiarity with attorneys and judges in the state of Utah distinguishes me from most other legal practitioners in the state. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and six children. Our children attend schools in the Lehi community and are actively involved in band, cheer, gymnastics, tumbling, soccer, football, basketball, track and baseball. My community service includes two elected terms on a local City Council and as a Junior High football coach in the Lehi Youth Football League. I also enjoy serving in my church, college football, hunting.
