Christa Riggins is a wrongful termination lawyer in Los Angeles and the founder of Riggins Law. Ms. Riggins has committed her practice to helping employees enforce their rights in the workplace and has successfully litigated countless employment disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Ms. Riggins’ success has resulted in millions of dollars in settlements for her clients.
Before opening her law firm, Ms. Riggins worked at the district attorney’s office and then as a wrongful termination lawyer at a boutique employment law firm. At the law firm, Ms. Riggins focused her practice on pregnancy and disability discrimination and violations of federal and state leave laws.
Since then, Ms. Riggins has been recognized as a top wrongful termination lawyer in Los Angeles. She was named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine for five consecutive years, 2017 – 2022, and received the Client’s Choice Award by Avvo in 2019. She is also an active member of the legal community and several employee rights organizations, including the California Employment Lawyers Association, where she serves as a committee vice-chair.
Ms. Riggins received her J.D. from Notre Dame Law School and her B.A. in Business from the University of Notre Dame. As an undergraduate student, Ms. Riggins was a scholarship athlete on the varsity swim team. During her athletic career, Ms. Riggins held multiple school and conference records, served as captain of her team, and competed in the 2008 Olympic Trials.
Ms. Riggins is admitted to practice law in the State of California and the United States District Court for the Central District and serves employees in Pasadena and the Greater Los Angeles Area.
