As a Senior Associate at Tully Rinckey, PLLC, Christine is part of the Family and Matrimonial Law group, where she focuses on divorce and child custody cases. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in family and matrimonial matters, working as both a private practitioner and public defender. She is also a member of the Tully Rinckey Trust and Estates group, representing persons with a wide variety of estate planning and directives.
Before joining Tully Rinckey, Christine spent 10 years as a Court Attorney and Referee to the Hon. Patricia Gallaher, acting state Supreme Court Justice and Family Court Judge in Monroe County. As part of this position, Christine assisted the court with custody, visitation rights, child support, domestic violence, juvenile delinquency and persons in need of supervision matters, neglect and abuse cases, termination of parental rights cases and other family court matters, including conferences with attorneys and parties, drafting decisions and legal research to assist the Court in making determinations. Additionally, she assisted in handling adult guardianship, medication and retention matters, and other matrimonial matters.
While acting as a court attorney, Christine also served as an arbitrator in small claims court, handling a wide variety of legal matters such as landlord/tenant cases, contractor cases, contract disputes and more. Additionally, she served as a court attorney in the Monroe County Domestic Violence Court, hearing and determining order of protection applications and continuing cases through resolution, and continued for many years as the Legal Advisor to the Judicial Officers serving in Domestic Violence Court, assisting staff with issues arising from jurisdiction, service and all related matters.
