Background & Education
Before becoming a founding member of Springs Law Group, Chris worked for two law firms in Colorado Springs focusing on family law and estate planning matters. Chris has run the spectrum of a case from the initial intake to mediation to final hearings. During this time, Chris discovered his strength in advocacy and client relations.
During his time at the Denver Sturm College of Law, Chris clerked for the Honorable Judge David L. Shakes of the State of Colorado 4th Judicial District. Under Judge Shakes’ tutelage, Chris developed significant legal research and writing skills.
Experience & Family
Even before choosing a career in law, Chris had a desire to work with people. This led him to become a teacher, where he acquired a unique understanding of the intricate workings of a variety of family situations. Chris brings the same care and concern he had as a teacher, as well as other rich life experiences, in helping his clients achieve their legal goals. Chris believes in being upfront and honest with his clients and walking through their legal journey together with them.
Chris and his family moved to Colorado in 2005 and enjoy all the beauty Colorado has to offer. Also, Chris enjoys working with his wife, Gretchen who is the office manager at Springs Law Group. In his free time, Chris enjoys playing games and watching movies with his family, going to concerts in Denver with his wife and going to the gym.
