Corrine Cooke, Esquire is the Managing Partner at Cooke Family Law, LLC. Ms. Cooke’s practice is exclusively concentrated in matrimonial and family law proceedings, including divorce, child custody disputes, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, domestic violence, prenuptial agreements, and other related family law matters. She also handles post judgment applications, including modification applications, emancipation applications, college contribution applications, and family law appeals.
Ms. Cooke is a highly experienced and accomplished family law attorney who has handled countless family law cases throughout her legal career, from inception through to settlement and/or trial. Ms. Cooke guides her clients through their Family Law cases with expertise that is both pragmatic and customized to her client’s individual needs and situation.
Corrine is Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney. New Jersey's certification program connect litigants with highly qualified attorneys in their area of the law. The NJ Certification program is designed to help prospective clients make an informed decision when seeking and selecting a lawyer and protects them from false advertising by showing attorney competence in their specific area of the law. To be certified, attorneys must:
-be a member in good standing of the NJ Bar for at least 5 years;
- take a significant amount of continuing legal education courses in the past 3 years;
-demonstrate substantial involvement in preparation of litigated matters;
-demonstrate an unblemished reputation by submitting a list of attorneys and judges who will attest to the applicant's character; and
-pass a written examination covering various aspects of their practice.
Corrine is also on the list of Approved Mediators under Rule 1:40 and volunteers her time to serve as an Early Settlement Panelist in various counties. She is also trained in Collaborative Divorce.
